The long awaited Season 2 of Fukigen na Mononokean has arrived and it's just as good. Only people reading this or considering watching this already will know the gist of Mononokean so I'll try not to repeat things. There may be spoilers but I have tried to avoid saying spoilers.

Story: One thing I welcomed with open hands was answers from the previous season regarding stuff like; what was that strange power Haruitsuki and Hanae used ( in one of the episodes )?, Why was the name Ashiya familiar to Haruitsuki and the 3 Underworld figures? and Who is the previous master of the Mononokean?, there was even questions introduced in this season that also get's answered which is nice to see such as a long question we all had like if Hanae had a father?. With the flooding of story it felt like the amount of yokai story added in felt like it was balanced well. Things from my point of view get's a few dials darker which is a nice addition to the story while also keeping to it's roots with it's comedy and yokai stories.

Art/Sound: Art in my honest opinion feels like it has gotten a upgrade while it may not be much of a noticeable difference, it does look more cleaner than last season. Sound once again I have no issues with with some added new OST's which are both great. OP and ED are really good in my opinion.

Characters: Excluding the previous seasons characters we have new characters such as Justice; the fair judge and Executive; resident human hater with a scary outward appearance but a ally to the yokai. We also have a new set of yokai to enjoy. Characters like Nara also gets a upgrade to importance which is nice to see. Seeing more members of Hanae's family was a nice treat.

Enjoyment: I enjoyed the upgrade to the story a lot however the reason why I gave this the same score as the previous season and not a higher score is because of a certain accident with story cough cough wheeze Episode 13, this is something that will make or break your enjoyment of this season. If you are a manga reader than you will hate the ending, but if you only watch the anime than it's a rad ending. There's some really enjoyable yokai stories in this season that gave me a real good laugh and made the biggest smile on my face. Fukigen na Mononokean Tsuzuki has proven to keep up to it's name as being a great stress reliever.
