Spoiler free review because personally I like reading them more without any spoilers into them! :D

Please bare with me since this will be my first ever review, though I hope it will be a good read and convinces you to consider watching this movie yourself :)

A beautiful story about what it means to grow up. Junkers the dog can make 3 wishes, and no girl deserving it more than Hiromi does. Having to struggle with her parents always being away from home, life gets tough on her. Thankfully she has Junkers her dog by her side, in the good and the bad times he is always by her side. One of the reasons why I really loved this movie is that Hiromi had so many personality and character. It's one of the reasons why I enjoy older anime's so much. All the characters look so diverse and they show many different sides to themselves, Hiromi is no exception to that. Nowadays it seems getting rather rare for younger characters in anime to behave like their own age but in this movie they really knew how to transfer these feelings and behaviors so well. It's certainly something that fascinated me the whole movie. For me personally it really seemed like the time flew by watching this anime, I would honestly recommend anyone that likes adorable slice of life movies to watch this one! Even though the movie deals with sad moments, it also shows the real side of how lonely it can feel to have your parents always being away from home. Even though Hiromi is such a mature and smart girl, it's still really tough seeing her having to navigate through this scary time. Thankfully she will always have Junkers by her side.

Even though the movie is older (1995) and there for has an older animation, it definitely has it's charm and vibe to it. Something that for me personally never gets old. All in all it's a movie that honestly deserves to be in my favorite list. Sadly like many older movies this one is highly underrated movie that deserves more love and recognition. Hence why I felt the need to write this review so hopefully other people will try and give this movie a chance as well! I believe you will not regret it one bit.

Warning: If you are sensitive like me than this movie will definitely make you shed some tears (but honestly don't we all like to have a good cry sometimes?!)

Considering all these reasons like mentioned above combined I will therefore be rating this incredible movie, nothing less than a 95/100! The only reason for me not to rate this movie any higher is because of the teeny tiny bit slower pace at the start just for it to suddenly wrap up at the end. I had like 30 minutes left of the movie when I started wondering how they would be able to wrap this up. Even though it was nothing but an awfully writing ending, I still feel like it had way more potential into it. Which doesn't make the movie any less good, but it just felt like worth mentioning nonetheless

Honorable mention: The soundtracks in this movie are absolutely magical, it fitted the movie beautifully and made their point across even better.

Thank you for reading this review all the way to the end xoxo
