First off, best golfing anime, I will die on that hill! Also considering most of the other golfing anime we have kind of sucks... it's not much of a praise but hey, a win is a win.

This anime doesn't honestly offer much in the sense of being too deep or trying to be more than what it is presenting. It's really just three friends having a great time together enjoying golf and honestly, that's fine. Sometimes all we have in life is the simple thing, it doesn't need to be all deep and meaningful every single day of our lives... somedays, just take it nice and slow and relax.

The beautiful thing about golf is that it brings the best and worst out of you. It is a sport that is determine by your own skill and not affected by someone else defending you or forcing you to make a terrible play. You are your own biggest enemy. And I think they did wanted to explore that more base on a few moments we see in this show but they didn't really want to explore too much into it. Since, I don't think they wanted to take away from what's most important... enjoying the game with those you care about.
We are our worst enemies seriously... we sometimes overthink things and go into self loathing. We fear we may not be able to do the things others can and we fall short of our goals. We sit back watching as others goes ahead of us as in golfing, you can see how far the other balls fly and you only can play catch up.

But hey the beauty of life and golf is this... just because the first hit wasn't the best doesn't mean it's over... sometimes we can get a redo and sometimes we just got to make the most of a bad situation. That is the beauty to golf, not every single hit will be perfect and that's okay, because as long as you're still here, you still have another chance.

I might be reading too much into it but I feel like that is kind of the theme that was going on. As we see how they three are trying to find their place in life. Trying to figure out what the next step is and trying to find their passion.

And failure hits us hard, sometimes we taste the bitter taste of defeat more than victories. A storm that hangs over us and it's a dark moment and memory to us...

But how we go from there will define your character. As how we respond to failure will be a testament to the type of person you are and the type of person you strive to be. Either you pick up and try again or live in defeat and give up. The choice is yours to make.

I think using golf as a metaphor for a life of choices we make in life and with trying to find our passion and pushing forward is a good choice. I think having cute girls was the flavor on top. And especially golf is best played with friends.

Thoughts on the anime quickly - it's really simple, there's not much in it. I was super excited for this when the OVA came out and when it finally got a chance for the whole show, I was so excited. I was not disappointed at all, this was fun, relaxing and OMG Aoba voice actor (Takagi, Miyu) did such an amazing job of making her so CUTE!!! I freaking love when she tries and fails, it's just the most cutest thing.

And as for the animation and golfing tips, it was all great and worth watching. Not top quality but it works for what it was presenting. Nothing too flashy or unique but simple and cute.

The OP was fun but I absolutely love the ED. Currently one of my favorite of the season.

And lastly, I am kind of sad this is an original... I do hope we get another season... I want to see more of my three cute girls.

Here's the simple sell of this anime... if you love CGDCT... watch it. If you don't, skip it... other than that, there isn't much to offer in this anime. It's not going to be like wow this is the next best sports anime... but again I don't like a lot of sports anime so, yes, this is better than most lol...

Anyways, thanks for reading my nonsense at the end, I really loved this and I don't think it's the worst or the best in a objective view. It's a simple SOL with golfing that is really just fun.
